Clients deserve every attention to detail and professionalism when inspecting their intended purchases. Buying a home can be an overwhelming process. Our effort is not to simply report on what we see on the surface but to highlight defects often due to neglect by the current homeowner or builder in efforts to avoid the potentials of costly repairs to our clients after closing. Whether you are in need of home inspection services, a 4 point inspection, or a wind mitigation inspection, River City Home Inspections can cover your needs.
With so many inspection companies to choose from, we value our client's future financial investment as if it were our own. Wind Mitigation Inspection
A Wind Mitigation inspection is normally recommended on any property built before 2002 and the roof has been fully replaced with a permit. A Wind Mitigation allows the insurance company to know how a property is going to stand in the means of a hurricane. Meaning what year was the roof replaced? What size nail was used to nail down the sheets of wood? What shape of roof is on the property? Are the windows, doors and garage door hurricane protected? All of these questions are equivalent to discounts that you could receive from the insurance company to lower your insurance premiums for the year which in turn could result in you the client as the new homeowner saving anywhere between $500-$700 annually over the course of you owning your property.
